Finnlog uses materials that are covered by European Technical Assessment certificate “Eurooppalainen tekninen hyväksyntä ETA-12/0353” confirming that Finnlog houses are built in accordance with strict requirements.
Finnlog houses have also been granted certificate of Constancy of Performance (0809 - CPR - 1229) allowing Finnlog to use CE marking. Both certificates are issued by VTT Expert Services OY. This is so-called "passport" of the product, which certifies that the wooden components of the log house are checked and comply with the requirements of the European Union Construction Products Regulation 305/2011 / EU (Construction Products Regulation - CPR).
Wooden parts of the log house is defined in European Technical Assessment Regulation 16/0020 (European Technical Assessment - ETA). The European Technical Rating is an approved technical approval granted in relation to the suitability of a construction product for its intended use. In the process of granting the ETA, the conformity of the buildings to the requirements in the European Union is assessed. The purpose is for the user of the construction product to be sure that the use of this product will help him to ensure that the structure complies with all applicable requirements. An ETA assessment can be made when harmonized standards are not available. ETA allows manufacturers to use CE marking on their products.
In addition Finnlog has been granted Russian compliance certificate «Certificate of Conformity» which affirms that Finnlog houses conform to legal safety and quality requirements.
Finnlog OÜ has been granted a AA credit rating by Bisnode Estonia AS which is an indicatior of a successful business.
The quality of our materials is inspected by the Finnish State Supervisory Organisation. The factory uses state-of-art technology to process the logs. Consistent development and the assurance of stable quality are two important criteria observed by the works.
